Query by matt20102: who presents guided paddling camping trips in Michigan?
I would like to take a paddling / camping trip somewhere in Michigan. There are lots of locations to do this but, like any traveling trip, there is the matter of receiving back! I know of some businesses that give such trips out west are there any providers which provide guided tours of paddling / shore camping in MIchigan?

You won’t necessarily need to have a manual. Quite a few liveries give shuttle service as well as boat rentals.

Query by wicket_wm: What are some very good camping areas close to San Francisco?
We are flying into San Francisco in the middle of May perhaps to go camping. We would like either beach access, or redwoods, or the two would be excellent. A thing inside 3 hrs of San Fran where we could rent a cabin (we will consider tent camping but flying with all the gear would be tricky). We will have a three year old with us so anything kid friendly with rangers/security of some kind is required. Ideal now we are mostly wanting at Major Basin, but we are looking for other selections as very well. Any suggestions?

Years ago(maybe30?) we camped at a park called Samuel P. Taylor state park. Lovely redwood setting. As I recall, it was with an hours drive of the north end of Golden Gate bridge. Not certain if cabins are offered, but could possibly be worth checking out.
Get pleasure from!!!

The best trips that I have enjoyed in Upper Michigan were canoe rentals from Watersmeet. The rental place, Sylvania Outfitters, will deliver your canoe to the chain of lakes at Sylvania Wilderness Area. In mid-September, the mosquitoes are dead and the turning leaves are gorgeous. Rock bass inhabit the lakes. Once you are past the boggy area at the trailhead campground, the four lakes have very few mosquitoes even during mid-summer. The portages among lakes are very brief, unlike some in the Boundary Waters Wilderness Area of northern Minnesota.
hey beby u can camp in my yard or in my room
lake tulloch- a great place to camp. very kid friendly. nice cabins, store and restaurant with video games for kids, bar for adults. beach area and hiking. my favorite place about 2 hours from sf
From the Bay Area:
Take Highway 99 to Route 120 East towards Sonora and Yosemite. Take a left turn 13 miles east of Oakdale at Southshore Lake Tulloch. The GateHouse is approximately 4
1/2 miles down Tulloch Road.

You might want to look into a KOA Cabin. They have several locations throughout the state.
Since you were thinking about Big Basin here is a link to the one in Santa Cruz County.
