Question by J.Rich: How do i convince my mothers and fathers to let me go camping with my boyfriend?
My mom isn’t that strict, but right here not long ago she has been becoming weird. My boyfriend wishes me to go camping with him and our pals. But she is totally against it, and I don’t realize why. I’m pretty muchಒ, and I’ve never ever carried out anything at all to make her not trust me. Do not I deserve a little freedom?

When you areಒ, you can go.
Not until finally then.

Query by : If I go camping in a public forest can I bring a gun if I do not intend to hunt with it?
I want to go adventure/survival camping. I want to bring along a light .22 in situation I need to have to kill an animal for meals but I do not INTEND to hunt. Just want to bring it along just in situation I need to have it.
I live in ohio but will be executing this in Montana.
I suggest that I want to bring it along in case I had been to get lost and require to kill a squirrel to get by means of the night.

Wow, excellent query in fact… Properly, I consider it’s a lot more query of type of that park, or nation the park is in… But I don’t consider it will be potential

Instead of convincing her to let you go, try to find out why she’s been “weird” recently when she hasn’t been strict before. Not that there’s a relationship problem between you two, but this may be a more productive way to approach the issue than simply trying to go camping when she doesn’t want you to.
Google what Sandra Bullock said about her mother and Sandra’s upbringing. Your mother should trust her intuition. You should trust your mother’s wisdom.
Totally!!! you should get permission to go. Tell your mom to ease up and let you have fun a lil.
Get an “adult” to chaperon the trip. That’ll ease her worries about this trip.
You could be asking from anywhere in the world so we could not know the regulations of that public forest. If it is a legal hunting area you would need a hunting license to walk around with the gun. The game warden would not go for ‘I was not going to shoot anything” They can confiscate your equipment for hunting without a license.
If you intend to kill game for eating you need to stay within the perimeters of the law. You will need a hunting license and be in an area that allows hunting. No National Park allows hunting, few state parks either. As for protection a .22 is lacking in that category. You can bring a gun for protection with in the laws of the states your going to and state that as it’s purpose with out the need of a hunting license. But if you get caught with any fish and game without the proper licenses your trip is over.
I would challenge your use of the word “intend”; you clearly do intend to hunt under specific conditions: if your preparations turn out to be inadequate for the conditions you face. The hunting is part of your plan, even if only as a fall-back measure. To go on a trip that you yourself call “adventure/survival camping” shows some intention of setting up a situation where hunting may be necessary.
Frankly, I’m getting a little tired of the concept a lot of young men seem to be getting (probably by sitting on their couches watching “survival” shows on cable TV) that the laws and regulations magically don’t apply if you deliberately put yourself in danger and then declare yourself to be in a “survival” situation. A real survival situation in which the law might grant some leniency would be, for example, you are a passenger on an airplane that crashes in a forest miles from help. A camping trip for which you deliberately cut corners on your preparations in order to make it more risky is just foolishness.
Either prepare better so you won’t need to hunt, or get a license and stay in areas where hunting is permitted. Whether hunting is permitted on a specific property depends on time of year and on where you are. By “public forest”, you could mean a number of things, including state and national parks (where hunting is NOT normally permitted), a national forest (where hunting may be permitted) or a fish and wildlife area (established in part for the purpose of hunting). Part of preparation is choosing the right kind of property for the activities in which you would like to engage.
